Arlington County police are looking for a driver who struck a pedestrian Thursday morning and left the scene.
A 22-year-old woman was crossing Fairfax Drive in a crosswalk near the Ballston Metro Station when she was struck by a dark-colored sedan shortly after midnight, police said.
The woman was taken to an area hospital in serious condition. She is expected to be OK.
The vehicle was described as a dark 2003-2005 Dodge or Plymouth Neon.
