Driver Slams Into Maryland Starbucks After Spilling Hot Tea

Talk about a bad Monday.

A driver who spilled hot tea in their lap lost control and crashed into a Starbucks in Rockville, Maryland, Monday evening, fire officials say.

The small silver car jumped the sidewalk and crashed through the front patio and broke the glass storefront of the Starbucks at 8010 Gramercy Boulevard, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesperson Pete Piringer said.

No one was seriously hurt, Piringer said.

Video from Chopper4 shows glass and fallen furniture in the patio area of the store where the front end of the car crashed.
