NORFOLK, Va. -- A Virginia dock worker is pissed off at her union, which she's accusing of discrimination, saying it refused to hire her after she peed outdoors at a work site.
Sonya Tillett-Bond contends a male coworker was not punished even though he also relieved himself outdoors at the marine terminal in Portsmouth.
She is suing the International Longshoreman's Association in U.S. District Court and is seeking $300,000 in damages.
Tillett-Bond's supervisor said he booted her off the job because he feared a sexual harassment lawsuit over the urination incident.
A jury was seated Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Norfolk.
