A Home Depot rental truck and a D.C. Department of Transportation van carrying eight workers collided Thursday afternoon.
Nine people suffered injuries in the crash along Rhode Island Avenue NW
at North Capitol Street just before 2 p.m.
Most of the injuries were minor, but one woman was taken to a local hospital with a serious leg injury.
The intersection where the crash took place was closed for a short time.
The cause is still under investigation.
