District of Columbia police have arrested an 18-year-old man in the stabbing death of a Maryland man two weeks ago.
Metro police say they arrested Edgar Blanco of Northwest Washington on Tuesday and charged him with first-degree murder. Blanco is accused of fatally stabbing 41-year-old Inoe Javier Salvador of Gaithersburg on Oct. 29 in the District's Columbia Heights neighborhood.
It's unclear whether Blanco has an attorney.
Salvador's death was the second fatal stabbing in a month in Columbia Heights.
