A new smartphone app will make it easier for District of Columbia residents to report quality-of-life problems.

D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray is scheduled to announce Wednesday the launch of a new DC311 smartphone application, available for free download.

Users of the app can report problems like graffiti, potholes, trash, and streetlight outages from their mobile devices.
