WASHINGTON -- D.C. Public Schools Chancellor Michelle Rhee launched a $9,000 radio advertising campaign last month to broadcast good news about the system, the Washington Post reported.
The ads, which aired on 95.5 FM and are scheduled to run again next month, announce that Key Elementary was the only D.C. school to earn a national ribbon for excellence last year.
The idea is to change public opinion about public schools, restore faith in the system and keep enrollment up.
Since the Evil Media only reports bad things about DCPS, the system decided to pay for play.
Oh and by the way, congratulations Key. Keep up the good work.
