D.C. Public Schools Chancellor Kaya Henderson will throw out the first pitch at Wednesday evening's Nationals game.
Henderson, who has served as chancellor since 2011, tweeted Wednesday morning she has been practicing her pitching skills.

She's set to take the mound at 7:05 p.m. as the Nationals take on the Phillies.
The team donated tickets and will recognize the school system during pregame ceremonies.
