One person has died after a shooting in the Cardozo area of Northwest Washington, D.C. police said.
The Metropolitan Police Department said that the fatal shooting in the 1400 block of W Street NW injured two men, one of whom succumbed to his injuries after being taken to a hospital.
Police said they are looking for two suspects who were spotted in a maroon-colored four-door car.
Drivers and pedestrians can expect road closures in the area, MPD told News4.
The shooting happened in the alley near the historic St. Augustine Catholic Church at 15th and V streets NW.
