D.C. Police said they are searching for two additional suspects in a violent shooting at an H Street NE restaurant on Jan. 27, after arresting and charging one suspect in the late-night violence.
The two suspects, 27-year-old Deago Antonio Belton and 24-year-old Timara Williams, both of Northeast Washington, are wanted for an assault with intent to kill with a gun, Metropolitan Police said Friday.
Police are asking for the public's assistance in finding Belton and Williams, after arresting and charging 26-year-old Delonte Wesley Rouse of Southeast with an assault with a dangerous weapon. He is accused of assaulting a man with a bar stool who had already been shot multiple times.
Police said that the three suspects in the violent assault caught on camera all participated in the melee inside the H Street NE Ethiopian restaurant Quara. According to police, a suspect and the victim got into a verbal dispute before the suspect took out a handgun and shot the victim multiple times.
Footage from the scene shows a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and hat yelling into a crowd before pointing a gun a firing four times. He jumps at the target and runs toward the victim.
Another video clip shows a man on the floor of the restaurant, holding onto his left leg before the shooter approaches and kicks him. A woman then drags the shooter out of the restaurant before Rouse jumps onto the victim and throws a bar stool onto him.
The woman then returns to pick up a handgun and puts it in her backpack.
Police said they need the public's help to find the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099 or text 50411.
