D.C. Man Arrested in Uncle's Fatal Stabbing

A District of Columbia man has been arrested in the stabbing death of his uncle.

Metro police said Tuesday that they arrested 23-year-old Davon Davis of Northeast Washington on a murder charge Monday night. He's accused in the stabbing death of his uncle, 53-year-old James Byron Davis, also of Northeast Washington.

It's unclear whether Davon Davis has an attorney.

Police say they responded to a call about a stabbing on Monday night in the 5000 block of Just Street in Northeast Washington. There they found James Davis bleeding from multiple stab wounds. He was pronounced dead soon after at a nearby hospital.
