DC Lottery's 2nd Chance Winners Announced

Two D.C. area residents have something to celebrate.

Earl Frank Holsendorff of Northeast Washington was named the $1 million grand prize winner of the DC Lottery's Second Chance Drawing Thursday morning. Terry Jacobson of Silver Spring, Md., will take home the Golden Getaway, a trip to either Hollywood, Las Vegas or San Francisco.

The DC Lottery made the announcement on New4 Today.

Holsendorff and Jacobson have 30 days to claim their prizes, a lottery official said.

But if you were hoping to win, all is not lost.

There's still one $1 million prize left; and with 90 percent of DC Gold scratchers sold, your odds of winning are pretty good.
