Crash Victims to Battle Metro in Court

Almost two dozen lawsuits have been filed against Metro by people involved in the June 22 crash that killed nine people and injured 76 more.

William Grandy, a lawyer who's representing Metro, said the parties have tentatively agreed to hold a trial in September of next year. The victims have also sued several of the contractors that build and maintain Metro's infrastructure, Grandy said.

The discovery process could begin within the next two months, he said.
