Lanes Reopen on Beltway Outer Loop in Landover After Crash; 8 Injured

The Capital Beltway Outer Loop was shut down in Landover, Maryland, in the area of Central Avenue as firefighters and medics responded to a crash Sunday night.

Eight people were injured in the crash that involved several vehicles, Prince George's County fire department spokesman Mark Brady tweeted.

The injured have been taken to area trauma centers and hospitals, Brady said. They all appear to have non-life threatening injuries.

All lanes have reopened.
