A construction worker has died after falling several feet into the basement of a home in Gainesville, Virginia.
The accident happened at 16112 Thoroughfare Road about 8:40 a.m. Thursday.
Prince William County fire officials say the worker fell from the second floor of a home that's currently under construction. First responders had to perform CPR on the worker when they arrived at the scene.
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.
No further information has been released.
