Child Porn Suspect Told Teen to Lace Parents' Drinks, Police Say

Springfield man accused of sexually abusing 15-year-old

A child pornography suspect allegedly told a 15-year-old girl to put sleeping pills in her parents' drinks so she could meet him earlier, the Washington Examiner reported.

Don Douglas, 40, also known as Uncle Donte, is accused of having a sexual relationship with the girl beginning in June and continuing until Sept. 29. Investigators also found pictures of the girl in sexually explicit positions on Douglas' computer, which was linked to interstate trafficking of child pornography, according to police.

He is facing federal charges relating to child pornography in addition to child sex abuse charges.

According to an affidavit, Douglas, a Springfield resident and friend of the victim's family, told the girl he had to wait too long for her to sneak out and meet him and told her to put sleeping pills he gave her in her parents' drinks.
