Candidate Tracker: Who's Visiting Virginia, and When, Ahead of Primary?

Multiple presidential candidates have visited Virginia during the lead-up to Super Tuesday, with just one more candidate scheduled to appear on primary day.

Gov. John Kasich: Kasich (R-Ohio) will hold a primary day rally at George Mason University Law School (Hazel Hall Atrium, 3301 Fairfax Drive, Arlington) Tuesday from noon to 1 p.m. Doors will open at 11 a.m. RSVP online here.

Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Donald Trump are headed to Virginia in the coming days, ahead of the primary election March 1. Hillary Clinton also is reportedly coming. News4’s Tom Sherwood reports.

PREVIOUS APPEARANCES:

Gov. John Kasich: Kasich (R-Ohio) held a town hall at Virginia Commonwealth University Feb. 22 after an earlier stop at George Mason University in Fairfax.

Sen. Bernie Sanders: Sanders (D-Vt.) gave a speech on the morning of Feb. 23 at a packed public rally at the Norfolk Scope Arena.

Donald Trump: The Republican frontrunner spoke Feb. 24 in the presidential candidate series at Regent University in Virginia Beach. Trump also held a rally at Radford University (801 East Main St., Radford) on Monday.

Hillary Clinton: Former President Bill Clinton campaigned on behalf of Hillary Clinton (D) Feb. 24 at a recreation center in Alexandria and at Richmond's Hippodrome Theater. Hillary Clinton herself visited both Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads Monday. Her first stop was at George Mason University in Fairfax, followed by an event in Norfolk.

Sen. Ted Cruz: Cruz (R-Tex.) appeared in the presidential candidate series at Regent University in Virginia Beach Feb. 26.

Sen. Marco Rubio: Rubio (R-Fla.) held four rallies in Virginia on Feb. 28, in Purcellville, Midlothian, Virginia Beach and Salem.

Dr. Ben Carson: Carson (R) appeared in Regent University's presidential candidate series Monday.
