Suspected Butt Slasher Extradited to U.S.

The accused butt slasher was extradited back to the United States from Peru Tuesday.

Police suspect 41-year-old Johnny Pimentel slashed the buttocks of nine women in the Fairfax area from February through July in 2011. He targeted women at malls and shopping centers throughout the county, police said, usually distracting his victim before cutting them with a box cutter.

He was arrested near a shopping mall in Lima, Peru, in January. Since his arrest, authorities have fought to have him returned to the United States. U.S. marshals took him into custody Monday and delivered him to Fairfax County police Tuesday.

None of the victims suffered serious physical injuries from the attacks.

Pimental was charged with six counts of malicious wounding, two counts of attempted malicious wounding and one count of forging a public document.
