Bullet Holes Found in Herndon Office Building Windows

Several office buildings in Herndon, Va. and the Herndon area of Fairfax County have been hit by bullets.

A Fairfax County Police Department spokeswoman said Monday that four buildings have now been hit, with the first bullet holes found July 24 and the most recent found August 5. In three incidents, the shooter hit the upper levels; in one incident, ground-floor windows were struck.

"It appears the suspect is driving up in front of the business, discharging the weapon and driving away," FCPS representative Shelley Broderick said.

No one is known to have been injured in the shootings. FCPS and the town of Herndon are each investigating two incidents in their jurisdiction.
