The 15-year-old boy accused of stabbing two men to death during an altercation outside a Fredericksburg restaurant last month will be tried as an adult.
The teen is charged with two counts of first-degree murder. A city grand jury will decide whether to indict him Aug. 24, The Free Lance-Star reports.
He is accused of killing 30-year-old Mac Hughes of Portsmouth and 28-year-old Anthony Carter of Albany, Georgia, on June 14.
That night, authorities say a fight between a group of teenagers and a group of adults began in a parking lot at the Greenbrier Shopping Center.
A man from Stafford was also stabbed but survived. No charges have been filed yet in connection with his stabbing.
The suspect's 17-year-old brother has also been charged in connection with the case.
