The jury is seated and opening arguments are set to begin Tuesday in the trial of a former Bowie State University student who's accused of killing her roommate.
Alexis Simpson, 19, faces a first-degree murder charge. Investigators say she stabbed Dominique Frazier, 18, in their on-campus apartment in September 2011.
Prosecutors say the two had gotten into an argument over music playing on an iPod.
A judge released Simpson on a $250,000 bond during a hearing in April. Her lawyers in the past had claimed Simpson acted in self defense.
