Bomb Squad Probes Toilet Left Outside County Building

The Baltimore County bomb squad is investigating a toilet bowl that was left outside a county office building with a cell phone and note attached to it.

Police spokesman Lt. Robert McCullough said the toilet was discovered on the sidewalk outside the building in the 400 block of
Washington Avenue in Towson at about 8:15 a.m. Monday.

McCullough said the building, which houses the offices of the county executive and county council, has not been evacuated.

He said the hazardous device team, a bomb sniffing dog and crime lab personnel are on the scene.
