Meteorologist Bob Ryan put on his gloves, laced up his boots and cleared the walk of this year's Golden Snow Shovel contest winner Sunday afternoon.
After predicting the massive snowfall, Ryan asked viewers to guess when the first official inch would fall at Reagan National Airport.
Doug Thompson of Herndon, Va., correctly guessed the hour -- 11 p.m. -- and the day -- Friday.
As a bonus, Thompson gets to keep the Bob Ryan-autographed golden plated painted shovel.
