Expect lingering delays on Blue, Orange and Silver line trains after a signal problem outside the Rosslyn station, Metro says.
Some Blue Line trains were rerouted earlier Thursday, but will now run normally between National Airport and Largo Town Center. Service to Arlington Cemetery station has been restored. Stations south of National Airport have been closed for the summer.
Orange and Silver line riders could also see delays as service returns to normal, WMATA says.
Service was temporarily suspended at Arlington Cemetery and some Blue Line trains were sent to Yellow Line routes as a track problem outside Rosslyn station caused rippling issues on Metro.
L'Enfant Station became crowded with passengers trying to find the right train toward their destination.
WMATA advised passengers to check station signs and listen to announcements for more details.
