Blue Crab Population in Chesapeake Bay Hits 33-Year Low, Survey Says

An annual survey has found that the 2022 blue crab population in the Chesapeake Bay is the lowest it’s been in 33 years. However, the findings don’t yet appear to require immediate intervention in crab harvesting, and hungry customers don’t seem afraid of a potential price increase. News4’s Darcy Spencer reports.
