Bandaged Bandit Robs Montgomery Village CVS

Robbed pharmacy on Christmas Eve

A man wrapped in bandages walked into a Montgomery Village CVS looking for drugs.

But instead of presenting a doctor's prescription, the man told pharmacists he was carrying a gun.

The incident happened on Christmas Eve around 8:45 p.m. at the 19100 Montgomery Village Avenue location in Montgomery Village.

Surveillance camera shows the suspect walking through the front door with his arm in a sling and white bandages wrapped around his face and head.  Police said he's a white male, age 25, over 6 feet tall and weighing between 200 - 230 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans and a blue sweatshirt.

Police said the suspect implied having a handgun, and demanded drugs from pharmacy employees, who complied.  The suspect left through the front door.

This CVS location has been the site of two previous robberies, on November 17 and November 30.  However, the suspect in those two robberies was a black male armed with a shotgun.  Investigators do not think those crimes are linked to the December 24 incident.

Anyone who may have information about this robbery is asked to call the Major Crimes Division – Robbery Section at 240-773-5100.
