Montgomery County Police have arrested two people after an armed robbery Friday morning at a bagel store in Olney.
Police say they responded at around 12:30 p.m. to a report of an armed robbery at the Chesapeake Bagel Bakery off of Olney Laytonsville Road.
Police say the early investigation shows that the suspect walked into the bagel store and handed the cashier a note demanding money. After the cash was given to the suspect he fled the store on foot.
Police say they later pulled over a vehicle that was seen leaving the area. After finding money from the robbery in the vehicle, police say they arrested a 28-year-old female and a 24-year-old male, both from Olney, Md. They have not yet been formerly charged.
Police say no one was injured during the robbery.
