The 2012 murder of a terminally ill Arlington man will be featured in an hour-long episode of an Investigate Discovery show.
"Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall" will profile the murder of 87-year-old Mack Wood Sr. on Sunday night, the website Arlington Patch first reported.
Three years ago, police found Wood's body at the foot of the stairs inside his Arlington home. Initially, it appeared Wood fell to his death, but a medical examiner later ruled his death a homicide and his son was charged with first-degree murder,
Last year, Wood's son, Mack Wood Jr., was sentenced to life in prison.
The episode, titled "Payable Upon Death," will feature interviews from police, attorneys and the victim's family members.
The episode airs at 10 p.m. on August 23.
