Prince William County police are investigating the discovery of what appears to be a body in Manassas, Virginia.
Officers were called to a retention pond in the 7300 block of Williamson Boulevard about 4 p.m. Tuesday. Officers with the dive team were called in to recover the remains.
The body was taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office for identification and determination of a cause of death.
