Teen Abducted in Va. on Mother's Day Found Safe

A 16-year-old girl who was abducted from Roanoke, Virginia, on Mother's Day was found safe.

Deidra Amaya Davis last seen at a home on the 800 block of 30th Street NW at 6:06 p.m. Sunday, Virginia State Police say. An Amber alert that was issued for Davis has been canceled. 

She was found about 1 a.m. Monday, according to the Roanoke Police Department. 

The man accused of taking her, 18-year-old Cameron Gil Williams, is also in custody, police say. Police said Williams was wanted on seven outstanding warrants not related to this incident. Davis was believed to be in extreme danger. 

Williams is facing charges in connection with the alleged abduction.
