Police say a Woodbridge woman let a 10-year-old child be in charge of three younger kids while she left them alone.
Prince William County police responded to a home on Braddock Road Wednesday around 2 p.m. after reports of child neglect.
After a short investigation, officials charged 34-year-old Beby Vaca with child neglect. They say Vaca, a caregiver, would leave a 10-year-old in charge of three younger children, the youngest being 3, while she left for "extended periods of time."
Police made contact was made with the children's father, who returned home to take care of them. Vaca has not yet posted bond.
