Tamara Jackson was ordered to serve 15 years in prison for planning the attack. Tikia Anderson was sentenced to eight years for carrying out the attack.

Jackson and Anderson drove to the victim’s Oxon Hill apartment building in March 2010 and waited for her to come home, according to police.

Jackson ordered Anderson to throw the acid because she was afraid the woman would recognize her if she did it herself.

The acid hit the woman and the woman’s 3 year-old daughter. Both suffered serious injuries.

Prosecutors said the woman was dating Jackson’s ex-boyfriend
