Prince George's County police were looking for the suspect in a purse-snatching that left a 71-year-old woman injured in District Heights, Md., on Friday.

Surveillance video shows the suspect walking into the Cigarette Discount convenience store in the 5700 block of Silver Hill Road around 9:20 a.m. Friday. The woman was making a purchase at the store's counter at the time.

The supsect appeared to wait in line behind the woman just moments before he yanked the woman's purse. He grabbed it so violently that the woman was slammed into the ground and dragged across the floor before the suspect took off with the purse.

Police said the woman suffered a fractured knee, finger, bruised ribs and abrasions to her hands.
