A woman's body was found near a church in Virginia Sunday, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
A 911 caller reported the body. She was identified as 28-year-old Ashley Nicole Childs of Stafford.
As police investigated, parishioners arrived at Summit Presbyterian church up the hill.
“Other than a lot of cars, I think that’s all we knew was going on at that time,” said Dave Thomen, of Summit Presbyterian.
The sheriff’s office is investigating the death as suspicious but said there are no obvious signs of trauma to the body.
