Woman To Be Deported for Infant Noose Incident

Police say Frederick woman intended to kill son, herself

FREDERICK, Md. -- Frederick County prosecutors said a woman accused of tying a noose around her infant son's neck after fighting with the child's father will be deported to El Salvador.

The deportation of 27-year-old Blanca Noehmi Juarez will start immediately as part of a plea deal reached in Frederick County Circuit Court, Frederick County State's Attorney Charlie Smith said.

As part of the agreement, Juarez will lose custody of her son.

Charging documents said police went to Juarez's house April 16 while she was having a fight with her boyfriend, who is the 9-month-old boy's father.

According to the documents, she told police she put a noose around the boy's neck and intended to kill her son and then herself.
