A Virginia woman has been arrested on multiple felony charges after setting her home on fire on May 1, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday.

Scott Bartosch Jr. died Monday from injuries he suffered in the fire.

His wife, Lisa Bartosch, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated malicious wounding and arson, according to the sheriff's office. She has been in the Rappahannock Regional Jail on no bond since Friday.

Police initially responded to the fire on Devonshire Lane in the Hampton Oaks subdivision May 1 at 9:15 a.m.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are coming, police said.
