    Celebrating Life After Breast Cancer

    A 19-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car in Rockville Monday night.

    According to Pete Piringer with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue, the crash was reported around 6:00 p.m. in the 12600 block of Veirs Mill Road.

    Officials say Beza Amare Eshetu had gotten off a bus and was walking home with her mom when she was struck by 68-year-old Douglas House. House remained on scene and was later transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

    Eshetu was hospitalized in serious condition, and later succumbed to her injuries.
