Woman Stabbed In Southeast

Woman in stable condition after suffering neck wound

D.C. Police are looking for a suspect in the stabbing of a woman in Southeast early Saturday morning.

Investigators say that the woman was stabbed in the neck in the 3800 block of South Capitol Street, Southeast at around 1:10 a.m. The woman was taken to a local hospital, where she was listed as being in stable condition.

No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing. The suspect is described as a man in his mid-20s who stands about 5 feet, 7 inches tall. He was last seen wearing jean shorts, and is clean-shaven with a short haircut.
