Police say a 43-year-old woman who had worked as a cleaner was killed for her involvement in an illegal drug trade.
Christie L. Pelland's body was found Monday inside a gynecologist's office inside the Medical Arts Centre of Glen Burnie. Pelland, a resident of Pasadena, had upper body trauma.
According to Anne Arundel County Police, 25-year-old Joseph P. Soule, also of Pasadena, has been arrested in Pelland's death.
Police say the two were involved in an illegal drug trade.
