Police in Anne Arundel County are looking for the driver of a car that fatally struck a man in Harwood early Sunday morning.
Investigators say that the body of the man was found on the northbound side of Solomon's Island Road north of Harwood Road shortly before 7:30 a.m.
Investigators believe that the car that struck the man was a 2003 Volkswagon Golf MK-4, which was driven away from the scene following the accident. Authorities believe that the car has damage to its grille, bumper, windshield, and mirror.
The victim's name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Officials say that it appears that the man was wearing dark clothing at the time he was struck.
