Woman Hurt in Hit-and-Run on BW Parkway

Woman Struck While Standing Outside Her Disabled Car

U.S. Park Police are searching for the driver in a serious hit-and-run on the Baltimore Washington Parkway.

The accident happened after 4 a.m. Saturday. A Baltimore woman, 27, was standing outside her disabled car when she was struck by a white or silver minivan or utility van.

The collision happened on the northbound parkway south of Route 410 (Riverdale Road).

The woman was taken to the hospital with head and neck injuries.

The striking vehicle is described as a van with no rear windows on its rear doors or flat rear panel. It has damage on the right passenger side, and may have damage to the side view mirrors. It was last seen heading north on the BW Parkway heading away from Route 410.
