Woman Dies After Losing Control of Car in Temple Hills Parking Lot

A woman has died after a car crash in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Monday evening.

Police said officers were called to the area of 28th Avenue and St. Barnabas Road. They found a woman, who was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators said the woman was driving in a parking lot in the 4200 block of Branch Avenue, in Temple Hills, Maryland, when she lost control of the car, left the parking lot and entered St. Barnabas Road. Her car struck a second car and flipped, killing her.

The occupants of the second car only suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The crash remains under investigation.

The identity of the woman was not released immediately.
