A Charlottesville woman has been charged with assaulting the wife of Virginia House Minority Leader David J. Toscano.
According to a police report, 35-year-old Claire Kennedy Ogilvie is charged with burglary, abduction and malicious wounding in Monday night's reported assault on Toscano's wife, Nancy Tramontin.
The Daily Progress reports Ogilvie is being held without bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail. She will be arraigned March 27 in Charlottesville General District Court.
Police say Tramontin was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
