Woman Caught Trying to Sneak Pink Stun Gun Past TSA

A woman was stopped by TSA officers for trying to sneak a pink stun gun past the Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport checkpoint, according to the TSA.

The woman was on her way to board a flight to Puerto Rico Monday morning when the officer staffing the checkpoint X-ray machine spotted a bright pink stun gun and small pocket knife in the woman’s carry-on luggage, TSA said.

TSA contacted the Maryland Transportation Authority Police, who cited the woman on state weapons charges. She was permitted to catch her flight sans her two weapons.

TSA warns passengers against bringing illegal or prohibited items in their baggage, and to check their bags thoroughly before coming to their airport.

To check if an item is prohibited, go to TSA’s homepage and use the “Can I bring my ____?” tool to find out if it can be brought on board in a carry-on bag or checked bag. This tool is also available as a downloadable app.
