Woman Accused of Targeting Bank of Glen Burnie Three Times in a Month

A woman targeted the Bank of Glen Burnie for robbery three times in the past month, according to Anne Arundel County police.

She hit the branch at 101 Crain Highway South in Glen Burnie before 5 p.m. Sept. 13 and about 11:15 a.m. Sept. 28, police said. Each time she handed a teller a note demanding money, took cash and fled in a black Hyundai sedan.

The same woman attempted to rob a branch at 740 Stevenson Road in Severn just after noon Saturday but left without money, police said. An employee managed to get license plate information.

About four hours later, police found the suspect’s Hyundai in the 200 block of Woodhill Drive in Glen Burnie and found 47-year-old Jamese Queen in an apartment in the area. The car and apartment were searched, and evidence from all three incidents was found, police said.

Police arrested Queen and charged her with two counts of robbery and theft over $1,000 and one count of attempted robbery.
