    Woman Accused of Stabbing Uncle to Death

    A 22-year-old woman is facing a murder charge after allegedly stabbing her uncle, police said. News4's Pat Collins is on the scene.

    A 22-year-old woman is facing a murder charge after allegedly stabbing her uncle, police said.

    Police were called to a home on the 8000 block of Steadman Street in Fairfax County after reports of an argument.

    Chardnay Southern had stabbed her uncle, Courtney Southern, police say.

    Courtney was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. He was 30.

    His niece was arrested shortly after the stabbing, police said.

    Several other people lived in the home, police said.
