Woman Accused of Selling Heroin Linked to Maryland Overdose

A Pennsylvania woman is accused of selling heroin to a woman who died from an overdose in Maryland in June.

The Carroll County Times reports 25-year-old Britni Tiara Fodor was arrested Tuesday on a warrant issued Oct. 13. She's charged with narcotic distribution, narcotic possession with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

The statement of charges reveals that Carroll County Sheriff's Office deputies responding to an unattended death on June 22 found paraphernalia and substances later identified as heroin and fentanyl. A witness told police the decease had said she was going to purchase Suboxone from Fodor.

Warrants were placed on the data from Fodor's cellphone and the deceased woman's cellphone, eliciting evidence that led to the charges.

It's unclear if she has a lawyer.
