Woman Abducted, Raped in Gaithersburg

21-year-old victim was walking near Olde Towne early Sunday

Police are investigating a kidnapping and rape that occurred early Sunday morning in Gaithersburg, Md.

Montgomery County Police say a 21-year-old woman from Laurel, Md. was walking from a friend's house to the 7-Eleven store on Duvall Lane, near the Olde Towne section of Gaithersburg, when an SUV pulled up.

The woman told investigators that she was pulled into the vehicle, driven to a field, then raped by three men in the backseat.

The woman described the field as deserted -- perhaps a cornfield -- without any buildings nearby. She reported seeing two large dogs in the field.

The men later dropped her off at the 7200 block of Muncaster Mill Road, near the Red Mill Shopping Center, police said. She went inside a nearby McDonald's restaurant to seek help.

The suspect SUV is reported to be a burgundy or red four-door, with a tan interior.

Police described the suspects as Hispanic men between 25 and 30 years of age.

The victim said one man had slicked-back, collar-length hair, with long sideburns and a goatee.  The other two men had short hair, according to a police report.
