Where Are All the Hotties?

One magazine says the District falls short on beautiful people

Our natian’s capitol may have beautiful monuments, but beautiful people? That’s up for debate.

Travel + Leisure Magazine just released its annual hotness list and D.C. fell short. Very short.

The city ranked sixth in the list of cities with the least-attractive people. On the positive side, the District is making progress. It moved up a notch from the bottom five where it sat last year. Perhaps the lobbyists and policy wonks are taking deeper looks in the mirror.

Memphis, Tenn., came in No. 1 for least-attractive people. Charleston, S.C., was on the other end of the spectrum, nabbing the top spot for most attractive people.

It’s not just beauty D.C. residents apparently are lacking: They’re also missing out on the fun factor. D.C. also ranked low for wild weekends and romantic getaways.
