Metro will close the Shady Grove, Rockville, and Twinbrook stations beginning Friday at 10 p.m. and continuing through Sunday.

Customers have the option of traveling on a free shuttle bus between the Shady Grove and While Flint stations during the track work, but Metro does ask customers to add 20 minutes to their travel time.

Trains on the Blue and Orange lines will share a single track between Eastern Market and Stadium-Armory. Metro askes customers traveling between those stations to allow 15 minutes of extra time to their travel plans.
